Mid-plate for DODGE 4x4 - FPE-MIDPLATE-5967

APPLICATION NOTES
1/4" mild steel mid-plate.
For use with Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines with factory rear cover.
Engine rear cover MUST be machined 1/4" thinner to allow for the mid-plate clearance between the transmission bell housing and engine rear cover. Failure to machine the engine rear cover to accommodate the additional mid-plate thickness will result in damage to the clutch or converter.
Rear cover dowel pin bores must also be machined 0.200" deeper. A 5/8" or 0.627" diameter dowel that is 0.750" in length is recommended in this location.
Additional cutting and fabrication may required for your application.
